Studio 285 offers a free hair extension text consultation to help you find out what type, length, and amount of hair extensions you may need.

Follow these steps carefully. Good photos help our hair extension specialists see your natural hair color, length, and thickness so we can give you the best possible estimate.

You do not need to wear makeup or get ready for these photos. We do not need to see your face. We need to see your hair.

Step 1: Go Outside

Walk outside into natural daylight.

This step is very important. Natural light helps us see your true hair color.

Please do not send photos taken:

• In a bathroom
• Inside your home
• Under artificial lighting
• From social media
• With a filter

If your photos are taken inside or we cannot clearly see your hair color, we will ask you to take new photos outside.

Step 2: Bring Some of Your Hair to the Front

Once you are outside, bring some of your hair over your shoulder and to the front.

Let your hair hang naturally so we can see its true length and thickness.

Step 3: Take Your Side Photo

Hold your phone out to the side with your right or left hand, whichever feels most comfortable.

Keep your face looking straight forward. Do not turn your head toward the phone.

Take a photo from the side that shows your hair from the roots to the ends.

Step 4: Take Your Back Photo

Keep your phone held out.

Now turn your face and body away from your phone so the camera can see the back of your hair.

Make sure we can see your hair from the roots to the ends.
